Practice Outline:

Swimmers need to be dressed and ready to swim by the start of their practice time - please try to have your swimmers at the school 5-10 minutes before practice.  They need to be deck in their swimsuits with cap & goggles at the start of practice!!

Level 1 swimmers will meet with their coaches each day.  Practice in the water will begin with a warm-up swim and be followed by instruction and drills to practice different parts of each stroke.  Swimmers will also spend time working on starts and turns as the session progresses.  Swimmers are expected to assist with taking out lane lines, deck clean up and flags before heading to the locker room.

Level 2 & 3 begin each day with a dryland routine to strengthen core muscles.  Following warm-up, we will work on sets using the pace clock as well as starts and turns as needed.  Swimmers will also be expected to prepare the pool area for practice that day or tear down before they head to the locker rooms at the end of practice.
